I can’t wait to start touching base with bid winners this week. I’ve got some many ideas for the writing craft class….and the early reading group is something I want to really have fun with (and interact with — I’d love to be your tour guide when you’re reading, if you’ll have me)…. I’ll make sure to send all postcards in envelopes, and will throw in some signed bookplates from all 4 books…. So many ideas and follow-ups, and ways to connect with you! All of you will hear from me very soon with details.
I’ll also continue selling postcards, if anyone is interested, for just a little while! Since they have “buy now” prices, it’s not really tied to a bidding cycle.
I hit my goal with this auction. These funds — once the government gnaws away half of it in taxes — mean that my convention appearances are covered; that I’ll be doing some real design work with Aedan and Bodoni on Tarot-related stuff; that Justyna and Aubrey’s design and PR work will continue — especially as we move from auction promotion into sharing real content and snippets in early 2026….
Biggest of all, I have covered the cost of a Micah Epstein cover. I’ll talk more about that in the coming days. I’d love your thoughts and input. He’ll be designing a Rune & Brand cover for the “Early Adventures” storyline I have planned for my Patreon site in 2026 — but I’ll use that image as the anchor for a site-wide redesign, so it’ll be the face of my Patreon. I’d love to hear your thoughts about what it might look like.
