I want to thank all of you who’ve shown interest and support in the Silent Auction. I’m going to have a lot of fun assembling the packages and adding personal notes where possible. And I wanted to share some of the gorgeous design work that Justyna and Aubrey have been doing! I am so grateful for the effort they put into this, especially given the holidays.
The money I’ve raised so far will cover so much — a Micah cover, continued design work with Justyna and Aubrey, future design work with artists like Aedan Roberts and Bodoni…. I’m really hoping these resources kick off the next generation of my Patreon site, which includes a special patron tier for live serial posting of the “Early Adventures” storylines.
The auction ends at 11pm EST tonight, with 30 minutes of extended last-minute bidding! This is how 32auctions described the extended bidding: “If an item receives a bid during the final 3 minutes of the auction, the item end time will be extended to allow for 3 additional minutes of bidding. This process repeats until no new bids are received during the final 3 minutes of the item bidding window or the auction has been extended for a maximum of 30 minutes beyond the original end time. When an auction is extended, you’ll see Extended Bidding messages displayed throughout the auction with a link for easily viewing all of the extended items.”
I’ll mail as many winning items as I can in December, though some may need until January. I’ll be in touch with all winners to set this up. (I’ve also decided to upgrade the mailing for all postcards — they’ll be in envelopes with personal notes, and possibly even some extra bookplates for all 4 books. The postcard images have turned out so nice that I didn’t want to risk ruining them in the mail.)

I looked forward to sharing more with you this December — I have an idea for a special holiday story….. 🙂 And wish me luck, too; I’ve scraped out a ton of writing time this month with the goal of drafting the final five main chapters of TMC! 2026 is going to be a huge year for me, I think.
